BotsIQ Wisconsin

Toolcraft is committed to equipping and enabling today’s youth to dive into the Manufacturing/Machining field through programs like BotsIQ.
Bots IQ is robotics education program that is a spinoff from the popular BattleBots(R) TV show. Students build combat type robots and compete against other teams to see which team has designed and built the best product. This program is project based education. Students build a real working robot by putting science, technology, engineering and math into action. The construction of their bot also exposes them to many different advanced manufacturing careers. This program is helping to train tomorrow’s workforce. BotsIQ Wisconsinwas formed in 2007 under the umbrella of the Wisconsin Precision Metalworking Council (WPMC) along with support from local technical colleges. The members of the WPMC realized that they needed to take an active role in exposing students to careers in advanced manufacturing and therefore started this local chapter. The initial & main funding has come from the Tool, Die & Machining Association of Wisconsin. – Visit BotsIQ.com
