Acquisition maintains Toolcraft’s Germantown operations, team and leadership while expanding access to resources and capabilities

GERMANTOWN, Wis. – Toolcraft Machining, a Wisconsin precision machining company specializing in medium- to large-scale complex components, announces that its assets have been acquired by Schneider Elite Machining Group (SEMG) and that the company will continue operations under the new name Toolcraft Precision Machining, LLC.

The transition is designed to maintain the foundation Toolcraft has built over decades. The company will remain in Germantown, with its existing employees, leadership and day-to-day operations in place.

“At Toolcraft, our focus has always been on people and empowering our customers, employees and partners to succeed together,” said Kathy Pfannerstill, general manager of Toolcraft Precision Machining. “Joining Schneider Elite Machining Group puts us in an even stronger position to invest in those relationships and create new opportunities for continued growth.”

Toolcraft brings more than 65 years of machining experience to SEMG, joining fellow precision machining companies JR Machine and ETW Precision Machining. Together, the three companies bring complementary capabilities and expertise to a growing precision machining group serving demanding industries throughout the United States.

“For more than six decades, Toolcraft has built an incredible reputation through its deep expertise in large-scale, complex machining and lasting relationships with customers who rely on that expertise,” said Paul Knoll, chief executive officer of SEMG. “Schneider Elite Machining Group is committed to providing Toolcraft with additional resources and relationships to support its long-term growth while allowing the company to maintain the identity and operational strengths that have made it successful.”

For Toolcraft customers, the acquisition is designed to build upon existing relationships rather than change them. Customers will keep working with the same team while gaining access over time to additional machining capabilities, technical expertise and resources available across SEMG.

SEMG also plans to invest in Toolcraft’s staff, equipment and capacity over time. The broader group will provide additional sales and business development resources to help strengthen customer support and introduce Toolcraft’s capabilities to new markets and customers.

The acquisition fits the long-term investment philosophy of Schneider Resources Holding (SRH), the family-owned investment firm in Green Bay behind SEMG. SRH prioritizes strengthening established companies, preserving their legacies, and positioning them for sustainable growth rather than acquiring businesses for short-term resale.
