How does “Live Tooling” on a Horizontal Lathe improve lead times?
- Many of our horizontal turning centers feature live tooling (milling capabilities). This allows us to perform secondary operations—like drilling, tapping, or cross-milling—in a single setup. By eliminating the need to move parts to a separate milling machine, we reduce handling errors and accelerate delivery schedules.
